I'm Charlotte. Twenty years ago, I opened the doors of a small boutique in Bexley, London — with nothing more than a handful of carefully chosen pieces and a simple belief: that every woman deserves to feel effortlessly elegant, without complication.
Back then, it was just me. I chose every piece myself, wrapped every order by hand, and got to know so many of you by name. What started as a small dream slowly became something I never could have imagined: a real, thriving family — built one customer, one order, one conversation at a time.
Over the years, the boutique grew, but what never changed was the way we do things. Every piece is still chosen with heart, not just for how it looks, but for how it makes you feel. Comfortable. Confident. Quietly elegant, in a way that never feels like trying too hard.
A few years ago, my daughter Bexley — yes, the very place our story began — came to work alongside me. Watching her fall in love with this business the same way I did has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Today, Charlotte & Bexley is very much a family affair, and every single customer who shops with us becomes part of that family too.
Twenty years in, we're celebrating not just a milestone, but you — the customers who have shopped with us, trusted us, and returned to us, year after year. This anniversary, and everything we do here, is our way of saying thank you.
